What is the minimum order for this washer?

One piece. Every line on this store is sold by the piece — there is no minimum order and no minimum order value, and a single washer is a valid order. Volume discounts apply automatically once the order value reaches $100.

What material and strength class is it made to?

It is supplied as Plain Washer 304 Stainless Steel. Material: 304 Stainless Steel. The full dimensional data for this line is listed in the specification table on this page, and we can confirm tolerances and mechanical properties in writing before you order.

Can you supply this washer in another size, material or finish?

Yes. We stock the same family across the sizes, materials and finishes listed in the specification navigation at the foot of this page, and we produce small batches to drawing for anything outside the catalogue. Send the drawing or the bill of materials and we will quote it, usually within one working day.

About this washer

This is a washer in 304 Stainless Steel, supplied plain. Every dimension is stated against the standard named above; where a tolerance class matters to your design, ask us and we will confirm it in writing before you order.

A washer spreads the clamp load of the fastener over a wider area of the joint face and keeps the turning nut or head from scoring the part underneath. Fitted under bolts, screws and nuts on soft or painted surfaces, slotted holes, and any joint that is taken apart often enough for the face to matter.

Plain (self-colour) means no coating. On 304 and 316 stainless that is fine — the alloy passivates on its own. On carbon steel it will rust, so choose a coated option instead.

304 (EN 1.4301, A2) is the general-purpose austenitic stainless grade: good resistance to fresh water, food acids and atmospheric corrosion, non-magnetic in the annealed state. It is the default for indoor and general outdoor fastening where chlorides are low.

This line ships worldwide from our own warehouse. Express courier, air parcel and postal services are all offered at checkout, with a tracking number e-mailed as soon as the parcel is handed over.

Stock items are picked and dispatched within 24–48 hours from our Foshan warehouse. We ship worldwide by express courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS), air parcel or postal ePacket — you choose the trade-off between cost and speed at checkout. Tracking is provided for every shipment.

If a line arrives with a dimensional or material fault, send photographs and the batch number — we replace it or credit it in full and cover the return freight when the fault is ours. Fasteners are supplied to specification and sold by the piece, so we do not run a general change-of-mind return window, and anything made to your drawing is final sale unless it fails the agreed specification.

We supply 304/316 stainless and grade 8.8/12.9 steel. EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates are available on request for trade orders. Batch numbers are printed on every carton label.
